When one speaks of digital video, we cannot visualize the enormous amount of cutting edge technology which goes into its making. The analog process transmits video as complete frames with the recording device and the audio follows. Naturally this leads to a progressive loss of data and the subsequent loss of quality.

A computer with a T.V. or Video capture card that records T.V .and video to the computer's hard drive. 4. for surveillance and security purposes. Etc. The digital video device can be used by a broad spectrum of society. It is like the ripple effect. It starts from the humble home movie recordings to digitally video shooting corporate events, weddings, newscasts and of course professional movie making. Digital video can be configured for security too. These video signals are transmitted to CCT. V. and the audio is recorded as well. These play a huge part in revolutionizing the security industry. The digital images have a much better resolution compared to the analog coverage which was previously there. In the digital video technology there is more control over quality and frame rate. The pictures are clear and sharp and even out of focus subjects are restored into clear images. The colors are natural and lifelike with no deterioration of quality when transferred to print or electronic media. With the digital revolution, both still photography and the digital video have captured the general public interest. Digital video is now the most widely used feature among the digital devices and has found its own space among professionals and amateurs alike. It has made huge advances in its own league and there are scores of digital video devices up for grabs depending on personal requirement and tastes. The advantage of digital video is its highly compressible nature. It can be sent at high speed through data transfer to the appropriate device without any loss in picture or audio.
