It incorporates a 10X optical zoom, high resolution16:9 widescreen mode and has a built in stills flash. There is a mini video light for low light or night shots. The color LCD of the Canon digital video camera is super -bright and is 2.5 inches. There is an Electronic image stabilizer so there is no shake at all. The SD card is provided for Motion JPEGS and JPEGS. Even when focusing on off-centre targets the video brings up the subject into sharp focus. It has a sophisticated light metering mode which alternates between evaluative, centre weighted average and spot. This of course renders the resultant pictures as noteworthy. The MVX4i can be connected to a PictBridge compatible printer for one touch printing and personal computer uploads. The compact nature of the Canon digital video camera includes a print-share button, flush switches, recessed buttons etc. It is superbly crafted to be super compact with a superior external finish. Photos and videos can be shot simultaneously, which is a feature very few cameras have. There is total accuracy of rendition and high color definition in the finished still photos and videos.
